Easy one

This card game originated in France as 'vingt-et-un'. The game was not popular in US initially so gambling houses tried offering various bonus payouts to get the players to the tables. One such bonus was a 10-to-1 payout if the player's hand consisted of the ace of spades and either the 'X' of clubs or the 'X' of spades. This made the game popular and it received a specific name in US. The rules have changed now and the 10:1 bonus is no longer present but the game retained its popularity in US Casinos. Which game?? Am not revealing 'X' as that will give the answer!!

Spot on again...BlackJack it is!!

No guesses - The answer is Fatal Attraction. Glenn Close and Michael Douglas were the lead characters in the movie. The guy on the right is Giacomo Puccini - who was the composer of the Opera - Madama Butterfly. The original ending of the movie Gleen close , cutting herself up to the music of Madama Butterfly but had to be changed as it was not felt to be the right ending. Even during the movie , Michael Douglas mentions this opera a couple of times as the first opera that he watched

Gen fundaes...

This mag was founded by George Newnes. It was started in 1891. The sole claim to fame for this mag is that Sherlock Holmes short stories first appeared in this mag and therefore its circulation grew bigger. While at its peak, a picture drawn by Queen Victoria appeared in this mag. Popular authors who contributed to this mag include Agatha Christie, P.G. Wodehouse, Rudyard Kipling and even Winston Churchill. Even after all this, the mag dropped out of favour around the 50s. Name this mag.

PS: Junta, IIT Open is around the corner...put enthu...put more qs. :-P
